THE BRANDING
Brand Evolution
The client required a Revolution of their existing logo with brand extension work to use throughout the website.

The old logo was a little outdated in style and limiting in colour palette to take across to the website. The client didn’t want a revolutionary change as they wanted to maintain gained recognition.

We worked on modernising the logo by flattening the graphic and changing the font, using 2 fonts instead of 1 to create a bit of hierarchy.
We then created a strapline inspired by the mission statement of the charity as well as feedback we had received from beneficiaries. Bringing colour into the strapline opened up the colour palette we could use throughout the website.
We then created a selection of sunflower-esque vectors in the new colour palette to use as background interest and feed the new branding throughout the site.
ACCESSIBILTY
Due to the nature of RMCH, although all of our websites are built with accessibility in mind, it was essential that the Hub’s site was built accessibly right from the start.

With the integration of Userway we were able to ensure that we optimised for accessibility in addition to:
- Accessibly written copy
- Aria buttons
- Design with accessibility in mind
